Feeling courageous!

Updated: May 1, 2019

After a super early start, I'm soaking up the breath-taking views here from the famous Diving Board ledge on Table Mountain in Cape Town.

This flat granite rock juts out of the mountain side and while it’s not for the faint-hearted, the vista of the Atlantic Ocean and Camps Bay is exceptional.

Nature can play such a big part in getting back in touch with our best self. So escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, I hiked to the top of Table Mountain (1085m) on the 12 Apostles Trail.

Close to unique flora and fauna in this World Heritage Site and with views galore, we trekked through gorges and valleys – as well as scrambling up a couple of ladders.

Reaching the summit took 3.5 hours … a big workout but worth every minute!
